2025 Undergraduate Research Symposium

Did you make an exciting discovery in the lab? Develop a critical analysis with real-world impact? Gather unique insights from fieldwork? Share your work at the Students’ Union Undergraduate Research Symposium (URS) and showcase your achievements!

Awards & Recognition

• Winners announced online during Research Week: November 19 to 20, 2025.
• Award presentation event for winners: November 19, 2025.
• Prize range: $250–$1,000 for selected video submissions.
• Top presenters will be invited to showcase their research at the in-person Poster Symposium.
• All research types and faculties are eligible! Whether lab-based, theoretical, or community-engaged.

Important Note:

Each student may submit one application. If accepted, each research project may only be presented by one individual (co-presentations are not permitted).
